There is nothing quite like the holiday season. The colder weather, the family get togethers, the amazing food, the presents, decorations, and the lights, to kick off the most wonderful time of the year.
I do love these holiday traditions, but my personal favorite part of the season is watching Christmas movies. It has always been a tradition for my mom and I to watch almost every new Lifetime or Hallmark movie before Christmas.
I enjoy most Christmas movies but my favorites are the ones that always have a happy ending. If you have ever shuffled through the channels on your television I am sure you have come across those cheesy Christmas movies on the Lifetime channel.
There is nothing quite like a Lifetime movie, where the town is full of Christmas cheer and smiling people. The movies always end where the guy falls in love with the girl and they live happily ever after much like a fairy tale. These movies never fail to put me in the Christmas spirit.
I love Lifetime movies because they will never leave you feeling sad or disappointed with the ending because chances are you will most likely be able to predict the ending after you watch a few.
Here are a few of my favorite Lifetime movies:
“All I Want for Christmas”
The kids try to get their parents back together by shipping their mothers fiancé off to New York leaving the holidays quite a mess.
“A Very Merry Toy Store”
Two shop owners decide to set aside their differences and join stores for the holidays instead of spending the season competing with one another.
“Christmas Around the Corner”
A lady ventures to New York City for the holidays to find that the decorations and events have been cancelled due to a flood. She decided to help and bring Christmas cheer back to the city.
“Christmas Lost and Found”
An event planner accidentally disposes of her grandmother’s Christmas ornaments and the granddaughter goes on a huge scavenger hunt to find the ornaments before Christmas.
Lifetime movies are always on tv and they soon become addicting after watching one. This is what keeps the Lifetime channel making more. The movies are captivating and pleasing to the heart, it brings people joy and happiness right there on the living room couch.
Next time you are flipping through your channels stop and watch one of these amazing movies. Grab a warm cup of hot chocolate, a blanket, and someone to enjoy these movies with and try out some of my favorite lifetime movies.
