A new cafe named The Newman Grind opened this week in the space that previously held Scooter’s Coffeehouse. The snack bar will be operated by Great Western Dining Service, which is the same company that supplies all the food in Mabee Dining Center and for general catering at Newman events.

Starting this year, the Jets will officially share the basketball court with a group of students from the Wichita Levy Special Education Center basketball team, known as the Levy League.
