The freshman class will be taking a trip on Nov. 8 to the state capital as a part of the Traditions and Transitions class. There are expected to be around 200 students in attendance.

Newman President Noreen Carrocci took a trip overseas last week to receive an honorary degree from Newman University, Birmingham.

When Director of Security Morris Floyd made a doctor’s visit in September of last year for a hearing issue with his right ear, he received a devastating bit of news that knocked him down pretty hard. “My doctor sat across from me and he said, ‘Mo, you’ve got a brain tumor,’” Floyd said.

The office of Student Life is collapsing the three graduate assistant positions that were not filled previously in the semester to fund a full-time Director of Multicultural Engagement and Student Life position, Dean of Students Christine Schneikart-Luebbe said.
