They’re not ‘ugly’ Christmas outfits, they’re ‘joyfully wacky’

The best Christmas outfit is an ugly sweater, tacky pants, and accessories that can only be described as extra, right?  No.

I like wearing some wacky outfits to prepare for Christmas, but I only consider one of them ugly.

My favorite Christmas outfit includes my Spider-Man sweater.  It is red, green, and black.  Spider-Man’s face, spiders, spider webs, and a New York City skyline decorate this sweater.  I usually wear it with black jeans, and I put my hair in a bun.

On Black Friday, I bought a candy cane skirt from Kohl’s, and a Super Mario sweater from GameStop.  The skirt is black with red and white stripes that divide the candy cane heart pattern from the snowflake pattern.  I found it in the ugly Christmas outfit rack, but it’s pretty cute.

The Super Mario sweater is orange and says “Merry Mario” in white letters.  There is a wreath in the center of it that is decorated with coins, mushrooms, a star, and koopa shells.  Mario is in the center of the wreath.  The shirt is covered in snowflakes, and the back is full of items from the 8-bit Mario games.

My candy cane suspenders are glorious.  They are white and sparkly red striped.  I just love wearing suspenders, and this pair is so fun.  I wear these with either my Hello Kitty shirt that says “Santa’s Little Helper,” black pants, and high heeled black boots or a black long sleeved shirt, dark blue jeans, and black leather or brown fuzzy boots.

When I wear the suspenders with the black long sleeved shirt and dark blue jeans, I will occasionally wear my cat vest with it.  This is my ugly Christmas sweater, and yes, it lights up.  It is red, white and green.  It is covered with cats, tiny trees, snowflakes, and paw prints.

I will be wearing these outfits during the last two weeks of school so keep an eye out for them, and don’t you dare call them ugly except for the cat one.
