Wichita full of haunted houses and scary fun for Halloween

October is here, and Wichita is full of options for living out your spooky Halloween dreams. The most popular haunted places to go to this October include:

Field of Screams, 4055 N. Tyler Road, Maize: Open Fridays through Sundays through Oct. 30, also open on Oct. 31. Tickets are all sold in advance online and cost $25 on Fridays and Saturdays and $20 on Sundays and Oct. 23. Get them at scaryprairiepines.ticketleap.com/

Forest of Terror, 5059 N Ridge Road: Open Friday and Saturday nights from 8 to midnight from now until Halloween. Tickets are $18 and are available at the gate. They also have food trucks and other activities.

Wicked Island, 3022 S McLean Blvd.: Open 8 to 11:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday nights  until Halloween. It is $30 a ticket and $40 for a fast pass. You can get your tickets at https://www.wickedwoodswichita.com/shop.

Historical Haunted House, 3864 N Greenwich: Tickets are $5 a person, and the venue is open 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Fridays and 1 to 5 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays.

13 Sinister Souls, 527 E. Harry: Open from 7 p.m. to midnight Fridays and Saturdays through Oct. 31. This is a 30-minute experience of scares and live actors. Tickets cost $25 a person at https://13sinistersouls.com/buy-tickets/.

A few other spooky events going on this fall:

Wichita Spooky Party Bus Tour, a 90-minute tour at 7 or 9 p.m. Oct. 8, 15, 22 and 29.

Rocky Horror Picture Show the Musical is live October 14-30. Shows are at8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and at 2 p.m. Sundays at  Crown Uptown Theatre, 3207 E. Douglas. Tickets are available at the door for $10.

Carrie the Musical will be showing at Roxy’s Downtown, 412 ½ E. Douglas, Oct. 2729 and Nov. 3-5 and 10-12.
